As a young boy, I spent countless hours by my dad’s side, soaking in the art and trade of woodworking. My earliest memories are of tagging along with him to job sites as early as four years old, watching him transform raw wood into beautiful creations. My dad is a master carpenter with a wealth of experience spanning new construction, remodeling, furniture making, and more. Those early lessons shaped not only my skills but also my passion for working with wood.

Over the years, I’ve honed my craft through hands-on experience in a variety of fields. From manufacturing and construction operations to new house builds and pole barn projects, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for precision and quality. My journey also took me beyond woodworking into cattle ranching and entrepreneurial ventures, each experience enriching the skills and values I bring to my work today.

Now, it’s my privilege and honor to pass on this heritage to my own sons. Zookerman Woodworks is truly family-owned and operated, with time, heart, and soul invested into every piece we create.
